Long ago, before time began, there were souls who hung out with God. They spent their days in conversation and delight.

      Souls had been incarnating as they felt so moved. Souls would come to bid God goodbye, promising to return.

      But some haven't yet.

      One soul wondered how God managed to remain cheerful and upbeat even though some of his favorite companions were gone. It was decided that this soul would incarnate to learn more about this. Preparations were made. Soul was made aware of many things which might be useful, including some of the best ways to be and to act. It was decided soul was ready.

      Soul condensed into a wonderful body with many gifts and abilities. She began to experience life in a new way as a physical being. There was something new to experience every day. Soul was enjoying the wonder of it all

      One day, higher self asked soul to do something which soul self thought was not right and which caused soul self great discomfort. Higher self was insisting. Yet it felt wrong. Soul self said "No".

      Soul self dropped the body.

      When a soul incarnates, it forms a copy of itself. It is the soul copy that contains the physical body. Now there were two aspects of the soul. The original and the duplicate that directly experiences living as matter. In this case, there was a disagreement, so the incarnated soul split, forming two souls, identical twins. The only difference being that one was the refuser and the other was the one requesting that it be done. These twin aspects of the original soul now result in three copies of the soul: the original and two copies each with a single difference. The original never incarnates. When the soul decides it has had enough experience as a physical entity, its physical aspects usually re-unit as one.

      The attraction between twin souls is probably the most intense attraction in matter, similar to a connection between two halves of a split photon.

      The lila is set. Twin souls in opposition. These twins incarnate again and again. Sometimes in almost total harmony living peacefully. At times in total opposition, leading wars. And all stages in between. One factor in being twin souls is the infinite love shared between them while enduring, at the same time in this instance, the deep disagreement dividing them. It is the resolution of their differences which is to expand our comprehension of our divine nature.

      These ones have many varied lives, sometimes together, some apart. In ancient times, they walked the Earth as mighty, knowing, powerful gods, capable of great feats, including murder and mayhem.

      They frequently mated with each other, sometimes enjoying quiet lives, others in the midst of raging storms. In some lives they were on the same side as siblings, family or mates, others they were as opposite as possible.

      They erected great temples, built and destroyed empires. They lived during the Atlantean age where one aligned with the sons of Belial, the other with the followers of the Law of One. They witnessed the Laser wars, helped form the Algonquin-Cherokee Alliance [when the Cherokee visited Earth about 3 millennia BCE], were active in the days of Alexander, Jeshua and Magdalena, listened to the 7 Fires Prophecies, worked for the American Independence and the U.S. Constitution.

      In more modern times, she has an almost continuous presence, while he has overlapping ones.

      Some are only beginning to realize that the difference between Earth humans and other humans in our universe is that the emotional capacity of Earthizens far exceeds any others. We come here to master our emotions.

      It benefits us to occasionally take a step back and look at what it means to be human. Seeing our paths from different perspectives may bring fresh ideas as to how we can best face our challenges now. As we look at how others have lived, we can better see how to live our own lives. Being a twin shows us another face of our true nature, one that is one with all that is.
