What if all the stories, myths and legends we have heard contain a kernel, a smidgeon of truth? What if it's now time for all that has been to be revealed?

This writer grew up in a home of books and music and stories. The most common books were ancient tales and science fiction. Her own choice of additional reading materials was mysteries: murder, who done it, etc. She read the complete works of Earle Stanley Gardner, Arthur Conan Doyle, Shakespeare, and the Bible before high school; all of Tom Clancy's books up until his unexpected demise, as well as the works of Piers Anthony, Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Arthur C. Clarke, Stephen R. Donaldson, Robert A. Heinlein, Frank Herbert, C. S. Lewis, J. K. Rowling, John R. R. Tolkien and others. And she saw many of these works made into films.

What do these works have in common? Doing what was considered extraordinary or impossible at the time they were read.

After 40 years of stories, this writer began learning how to do some of these things in a program called "Be Your Own Psychic"1. This has led to an ever increasing awareness of the nature of energy and the oneness of all.

We humans have been carefully trained for centuries to follow. These efforts greatly increased after WWII. It has become blatantly obvious in the last few decades. Why? So that we may recognize it.

It is now time for people to see. Time to see what is planned. Time to see how others are acting for their own benefit or for the benefit of others. Time to see that we control our own circumstances and therefore our own destiny. Time to see that we come into the physical with all that we need to live a full, productive and healthy life. Time to see the simplicity of life.

We control much of our life with our breath. Our respiration is a major function. We not only bring in useful substances and exhale no longer needed ones, we control our mood, state of mind and sense of well being by our breath. Our mind controls much of what we do. We control our mind with our breath. By choice.

We have a very intelligent body. It can run very well on auto pilot as long as we allow it. What interferes? Our choices. Our choice of what we take in and what we ask it to do. The body itself is designed to manage many situations, such as contamination with hazardous substances, stress, even broken bones. It works better if we limit the incidence of hazardous substances, actively release stress and immobilize (set) the broken bones but the body will handle all even if we ignore these. There may be, however, some strange and unwelcome results. Cooperation is recommended. We, our conscious self, functions as the "captain of the ship". We must be aware of our overall conditions and regularly check on these.

This writer became aware of this as a child when she would notice in a moment of inactivity that she had a new bruise. She did not feel pain when her attention was focused elsewhere such as in a game. She soon learned to take inventory after periods of intense physical activity. Her family shares a condition called "high tolerance for pain" which translates into “totally ignoring feelings”. This is not an optimum trait for daily living although it can be very useful at times.

Ignoring feelings may be very detrimental. Feelings are a main avenue of communication between body and spirit. It is also a main indicator for humans as to what is true or not, as well as when something is not "right".

Feelings are very important now. With all the information being published from countless sources, we need to be able to discern fact from fiction so that we can make beneficial choices for ourselves and our loved ones.

The body is in constant communication with all our forms of consciousness and usually reacts quicker than our conscious mind.

We can practice discerning by noticing how we [the body] feel when we hear or read an item. What makes us feel good? What makes us feel not so good? Where do we feel it? How does it make us feel? Are we relaxed or do we feel more tense? What kind of feeling goes with what kind of information?

We are responsible for ourselves using the tools we come in with. How we do this is our choice.
