Some Considerations in Healing Self

      We live in a world where many see the hope of the future while ignoring their pain and their wounds. It is thought that the future can be built while living with the damage. Wars can be won this way but it is very difficult to build on pain. We must pause and allow self to handle the grief and heal the pain while restoring self.

      We pause when we are physically challenged. We may not be so physically challenged if we pause to consider our spiritual and emotional challenges more regularly and take steps to heal them in ourselves.

      We observe certain annual days of celebration and reflection to remind us that we need to do this every so often.

      Failure to address spiritual and emotional issues can lead to dis-ease. Breast cancer, e.g., is a not uncommon occurrence in women, generally resulting from heart trauma. We humans have more influence over our environment than we acknowledge. This is not to say we can abuse our environment without negative consequences but we have great say over our reactions to everything and the consequences.

      Why does emotional or spiritual trauma manifest as dis-ease? Because it is not consciously acknowledged, it is being ignored. This may go on for a while. It cannot, however, go on forever. As part of our contracts to experience in matter, we must resolve resulting emotional issues.

      This includes experiences occurring as a young child which may be naturally suppressed and forgotten.

      This writer was in an inappropriate relationship which was terminated when she was 21 months. Her reaction was anger over the termination. At age 47, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Just prior to this, one sister was also diagnosed with encapsulated breast cancer and another sister with a brain tumor a few months later. An uncle also walked on at this point in time as a result of colon cancer diagnosed 5 years prior. There was only two incidences of cancer in the family tree before this point.

      This writer had begun making major changes in her life 2 years prior to the diagnosis of cancer. These included diet, physical activities and initiating chiropractic care, as well as the beginning of formal intuition development at the Association for Research and Enlightenment in Virginia Beach. The recommended treatment options for cancer were directly in contrast to the ways she was now following. She choose to follow only two medical suggestions: immediate removal of the tumor and to take tamoxifen which allegedly blocks estrogen. This writer found it actually blocks testosterone which she found of interest as their molecular structures differ. She took it for only 18 months instead of the recommended 5 years and was menopausal for about 8 years.

      Instead of conventional medical treatment, she used "alternative" options, such as visualizing her T-Cells gobbling up the bad cells, watching funny movies, singing, chanting, continuing daily meditation, and seeing herself dis-ease free. However, the root cause of her dis-ease finally surfaced consciously 15 years later.

    Her higher self [soul] had attempted to bring this anger to the surface in the mid 1980s when it became no longer useful. After her husband returned home in 2007, there was a cooperative venture to create a situation as a last ditch effort which had to work.

    After 6 months of daily conversation with her "dead" husband, she was hit with Light/Love via an email which greatly raised her energy levels. She could see and hear much better spiritually. She was told many things, including how her current condition had come about. She learned she had 2 years to release her anger. She did it with 39 days to spare.

    After releasing the core of frozen anger in her heart, she realized there was still much to heal. She did some good things for the right reasons; some not so good things for right reasons; many good things for the wrong reasons and some not so good things for the wrong reasons. That her anger has some benefit was because it was a pure emotion as indicated by the fact that she looked good in true red, showing the presence of this color in her aura. The anger scared off ones of questionable intent. Soul Self, however, did not reside in her heart but her throat chakra. She used the same meditation mantra for 40 years which aligned her will with her higher self.

      It was another 10 years before she finally felt healed, retrained to function in a way compatible with our design. Then Covid hit and it was a new ball game.

      She also realized the enormity of the damage that one human can inflict upon another, aware or not. Her experience might be considered minor but it affected her entire life, for good and not so good. It enabled her to fulfill an early task [lasting 20 years]. It also aided her in seeing how we humans are designed and how we can maintain ourselves optimally on all levels.

      We are responsible for how we react to others. Holding on to our feelings causes them to become a permanent part of self for better or worse. Processing them as they occur and releasing them keeps them from becoming permanent and a possible cause of dis-ease. Part of the processing is to affirm love of self and any other involved as well as forgiving self and others for any part played in the situation.

      We are also responsible for the energy levels of our surroundings. However, the energy levels of others and their actions does not impact us as much as our own energy levels.

      Our choice.
