Be Consciously Aware

The medicine pauwau is a gathering of the people for the purpose of maintaining and healing the community by assisting the members in healing self and each other.
We come together to create and maintain our society and to create our future. Some, however, tend to ignore what does not immediately affect self. This is an impediment that needs to be reversed. We are not likely to change, modify or correct what we don’t see or acknowledge.
Appearances are deceptive. Things are not as they seem. We see a war in Ukraine for instance. It is IN Ukraine but it is not WITH Ukraine, i.e. it is not against the people of Ukraine. It would be more accurate to say it is against the United States but this is not quite accurate either. It is against certain money interests that are part of some U.S. corporations and individuals who act without the explicit consent of U.S. citizens, as well as others who all act in their owns interests without regard for the common good. However, because we do not consciously oppose what is being done, we implicitly condone it.
This is not good.
Certain events in the last few years are making us more aware that there are those who do not act in the best interests of the community. Creating/producing harmful organisms for use as weapons is not in the best interests of the people. This can negatively impact the producers. Some say this is an acceptable risk but is it?
Shutting down businesses for long periods is harmful. Discriminating against businesses based on size rather than on ability to do business safely is even more harmful. This country is built on the ongoing efforts of individuals and communities. Making it impossible to conduct business kills business. Many small businesses are no longer.
Is this good for the community?
Some actions are good for the environment but if there is no replacement or an agreement to do without, these may harm the community.
We can see this in the current fuel situation. The U.S. was energy independent before a pipeline shut down. Good for the environment but where is the replacement? Is it not better to arrange for a quick replacement, then eliminate a necessary component of modern living?
People are struggling to stay warm world wide due to the rise in fuel prices. Causing this suffering is even more depraved since there is technology kept hidden from ordinary people which provides the necessary energy for heating, transportation, and electricity, etc.
To better provide for our community, most need to be consciously aware of community needs and the means to provide these to all.
What can we do? … What we can do!
